March 5, 2013 - Updated Schedule of Events and International Outreach
An updated Schedule of Events for the conference is now posted. There is also a new addition to Wednesday's events as the Department of Exercise and Sport Science and CSRI will be having an International Outreach discussion about the upcoming 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics hosted by Brazil. The discussion will take place in Fetzer Hall from 1:00pm - 2:30pm Wednesday, April 17, 2013 and will include representatives from both Brazil and UNC-Chapel Hill. Click here for more information
About the CSRI Conference
The CSRI Conference is a student-run conference hosted by the College Sport Research Institute and the Exercise and Sport Science Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The conference features three days of discussion panels, keynote speakers, academic research presentations and student competitions.
Faculty, athletic administrators, students, sport practictioners and the general public interested in research, theory and critical thinking regarding issues in college athletics should make their plans to attend!
Preparations for the 2013 CSRI Conference are currently underway. Check back soon for information regarding the conference schedule, registration, accommodations and student competitions.
